Looking for a good weightlifting belt for crossfit

Hi,

I've just started CrossFit and can sometimes feel the strain on lower back. I was wondering if a belt would help and if anyone has any recommendations?

You need to do strength training such as 5x5. I hear madcow 5x5 is pretty good.

Squats, squats and squats with weights

edit: A friend of mine swears by squats too. She does pretty heavy squats and uses a belt. So I've gone ahead and ordered one too based on this list for women http://powerliftingbelts.org/womens-wei ... ting-belts

Creatine works well and is almost THE thing for this type of situation. It's not a miracle worker but I always feel that workouts are more "solid" when I take it.

As long there is no joint pain, muscular pain is fine. It will eventually diminish even if you keep upping it each time you exercise.
