Re: 150 pounds to lose, 59 years old, where do i start
Well deciding to do something about it is a good start. You're saying you have high blood pressure level? What would that blood pressure be? (perhaps enter your values in this blood pressure calculator to see whether your numbers are really high or not). Next, depression can be cured and regular exe...

Why not just try some of the online BMR calculators, for example this BMR calculator?

Re: can someone help me understand why im not losing weight?
Hello. You haven't told us your gender and how old you are so I will just assume you are 30 and (since you are doing bench press you are most likely to be ). Your BMI is about 24,6 which isn't bad at all. It's within normal limits. Why losing weight? So the abs will be visible? What is your target w...

do you eat way above your BMR when building muscle?
Hello all. I'm struggling with performance in the gym. It seems like I hit the wall. current max is now 100kg at bench (4 reps); 105kg (1 rep), and I think it stopped there. It's been like this for 3 weeks now. I can't lift more than that. And it's similar with other exercises as well (biceps, trice...

Re: what influences performance besides sleep and proper die
Yesterday I was able to lift 100kg 4 times in a row which is quite outstanding for me. I didn't eat a lot, but I was well rested... Still, I am not sure what influences performance. Can the mood be a factor??

Re: what influences performance besides sleep and proper die
Stress level is the same. I'm happy to say that life has no stress or very little stress
For carbs I usually eat white rice or potato (side dish to lunch). I usually eat pizza as well. I sometimes use maltodextrin before training.
Do carbs really affect performance?

what influences performance besides sleep and proper diet?
Hi all. I have a simple (yet complex) question. The other day I went to the gym and I could lift lets say 100kg on bench press. I was in no way rested, neither did I eat enough. Today I went to the gym and I couldn't lift 100kg although I slept for more than 10 hours per day for 2 days in a row and ...

Re: keto and cholesterol levels
Why necessarily reduce Egg Yolk intake? Many eggs contain good fat because the chickens are fed flaxseesd or grain these days. The ones with cholesterol are reputed to have little to no effect on the blood cholesterol anyway, but people could reduce them if concerned, but many eggs now would not re...
