Re: Gluten free

It used to be a 3 egg omelette, but I've put it down to 2 on account of the extra calories for very little overall satiety... think I was just being a bit greedy! I'll play around with a different lunch - had scrambled egg last night instead of omelette because I thought it would go down easier, lig...

Re: Tamar's Journal

Thank you Edgar! I'm feeling good for tomorrow's workout as I had today off, perhaps it's a case of slight overtraining. I'm aiming for 4 times a week for the next 5 weeks until kids finish school for the summer, because I'll probably be down to twice a week maintanance while they're home - oh well,...

Re: Gluten free

I could possibly do another omelette - on the days I work until 10pm that would be excellent because dinner is usually a rushed salad or sandwich. Isn't there a problem with having so many eggs?

Re: Gluten free

Cheers for the replies. I do try to have healthy fats quite often - nuts and seeds mostly, as I can't tolerate oil, so olive oil, nut butters and even some fish is out for me. I promise I'm not making obstacles, but I would be seriously in pain if I ate them. I do love eggs though - I can have the o...

Hi. I've been eating gluten free for a year now, although I've not be officially tested for Coeliac Disease as I'd have to eat gluten again, and I really don't think I could handle the pain again. I've been doing best re food, but I'm starting to struggle especially on evening snack. I have to eat a...

Re: Just starting

Hi Edgar You commented on journal, so I thought I'd take a look at yours, and -wow - I'm so impressed with what you've managed to achieve! And your enthusiasm seems as high today as when you started. I've run in the past, but I stupid injury made me feel nervous about starting again - the most I run...

And today there wasn't one - it's the weekend, I rest. Spent half an hour playing football piggy in the middle with kids in the gorgeous suns...

Re: Tamar's Journal

Hi Lesplease, thanks for the welcome... yes, I know it helps to log all the carbs etc, but I'm a basic kind of person and all that stuff seems like such hard work. I'm maintaining at the moment, and as I only want to lose 2kg I'm just going to up cardio for a few weeks. I'm sure when I look back ove...

Tamar's Journal

Hi Everyone. Okay, I've been signed up to this site for months and months, then forgot about it, then remembered it, then had problems logging all food on the food log because I always ate without weighing. So, I thought I'd have a try at keeping a journal here to motivate myself. About me: I'm fema...
