doing squats and deadlifts help strengthen the core as well as situps and ab exercises, but what if i dont entirely want to do the heavy leg lifting, is there any other way to strengthen core, such as doing curls and such using a balancing ball or something? Yea, he is eating 1/2 his calories in one meal. That is not a good breakdown. It doesn't really matter what your training goals are. Dividing up your calories like that isn't a good thing.

Often times its not what you eat but when you eat it. It doesn't matter if you are trying to burn fat or gain muscle. Five to six meals a day are better then three.
