Well I'm not sure how much sense these will make to those not familiar with the book, but here goes: 1) I'm not sure how many calories per day I should be eating. other concern here, apart from a freaky heart rate, is whether I am in the zone I need to be while working out. If "real" mhr is in fact in the 190's and I want to be at at least 85% of that, I will want to adjust the lower end of that zone upward so I know what to shoot for. While I am f...

wierd heart rate monitor feedback

I bought a Timex hrm recently for use with a new exercise program. Following the instructions I calculated mhr at 180bpm. Over the course of workout (which is supposed to be at 85%-100% MHR) heart rate shot into the 190's several times, for a few seconds at a time. Timex Technical Support advised me...
