Building Muscle...the next step

Post by radioflyer1017 »

I'm 5'11" and at worst weighed 230lbs.

I'm now floating between 170-175lbs with body fat between 7-9%. I had measurements done the other day and was sorely disappointed (after a friend told me I looked small, was losing all muscle).

Chest = 39-inches, Arms = 13-inches, Waist = 32-inches, Hips = 38-inches, Leg = 22-inches, Calf = 15-inches

I teach between 10 and 12 spin classes each week, so it's kind of hard to build muscle, but that's exactly what I want to do. I've increased calories...all protein...and decreased reps, but I'm curious if anyone has any other ideas or tips?

If you go to profile you'll find recent pics...I can't figure out how to post them in this thread.

mayne try some bcaa's before and maybe during your classes and training sessions or sip a protein drink pre/during each at least

get a new job is also a good one, why not PT or something?

I teach between 10-13 classes per week (spin and boot camp), I am a certified trainer but haven't really put it out there yet. I like having that as a side gig for the extra cash, but I'm not sure about going into it full-time. These classes wear me out enough as is...

well train small groups...

you might get say 50 bucks a session for your exercise calss which runs for an hr

with group sessions you can train 3 people at once for 1hr, charge them 30 bucks each and make 90 per hr

therefore you can easily cut your classess in half or even better, get rid of them all
