Ive noticed the very top centre of bicep (nearest the shoulder )is not fully formed, the rest of the bicep is fine but its just a small area that feels like it needs to grow a bit more.
What is the likely cause of this, Bad form on bicep exercises? Not enough protein to form muscle correctly?
When I do bicep curls I make sure i use a max weight i can handle without swayin, I lift all the way up slowly, then back down again

have you tried. close grip preacher curl, alternate dumbell with twisting as you lift. And try not to lift all the way up if you can make ang angle between 30-45 degrees angle on your wrist, elbow and shoulder. I hope this will help.Bigboi118 wrote:Ive noticed the very top centre of bicep (nearest the shoulder )is not fully formed, the rest of the bicep is fine but its just a small area that feels like it needs to grow a bit more.

You're welcome, FYI, on Hammer Curls your focusing on your inner bicep (section the bicep on armpit side). Goodluck and hope it works on you.Bigboi118 wrote:just genetics? hmm im was sure it was somthin i was doin wrong, kimgohan thanks for the suggestions, Ill try to add these into routine (i ain ever done precher curls) im doin a CW program at the moment, the only straight bicep exercise is Hammer curls.
Im bringing this up again as routine at the moment has bicep curl x3 a week (hammers, preacher, normal), I still have this issue with bicep muscles, im sure somethings wrong, even ive torn the muscle (not sure how easily possible this is) but now left arm is getting weaker and i get this strange small pain like a shock if i tense the muscle. I know i may need to get it checked out.
Im not jus fussing over them, biceps are the last thing i care about but the muscle is almost like its eating away.
any suggestions? maybe I should lay off doin curls with that arm, or maybe both for a bit

laying off the bicep work will maybe have the pain go away but doesn't really solve the problem, only the sypmtom (pain)
