PROBLEMS WITH LEGS..VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Post by YasinH »

Here is the problem..i been working out for 2-3 yrs now and lately for the past 6 months ive been having MAJOR problems with THIGH area, mainly the back potion which i think is the BICEP FEMORIS(BACK THIGH)...

whats happening is, Once in a while what would happen is,if i tried to flex or stretch out leg when im in a seated position and/or trying to get up to stretch, Muscle would get soo TIGHT and I CANT EVEN MOVE,all i could feel is thigh muscle getting very tight and it pains like hell and i cant do nothing but just keep it in that position and YELL!..

Does anyone know what the problem might be? I dont ave insurance unfortunately so i cant get it checked out...TOO MUCH DAMN MONEY!

Difficult one, you perhaps are trying to stretch from cold, and that's what's doing it. You might need to to do some jogging on the spot first and see if that helps, by warming up muscle temperature.

Everytime i work out, i always do a warm up of either jogging or Jump roping for 10 mins to get blood warm and pumping throughout the body.. This happens when im either doing dumbell flat bench and im lifting heavy and try to plant feet firmly on the ground for stability, it would get LOCKED UP and thats VERY dangerous!..
also when im just sitting somewhere and then try to change positions and stretch leg out

It sounds like you might have something like tight Hamstrings perhaps, or some connective tissue tightness. I would reccomend seeing a Doctor, and then maybe a specialist if reccomended by the Doctor.

Are you overdoing the cardio? Do you have proper form, proper shoes? Do you get enough calcium, magnesium, potassium?
I get horrible Charlie horses and tight calves if I overdo the cardio and don't eat right.
Have you ever tried massage? It works wonders. Massage and stretching and drinking TONS of water help me.

I dont do much cardio, Just warm up before exercise, i stretch before and throughout exercise and then after..I also stretch every morning when i wake up.. As for taking minerals, im sure i take them when i eat CEREAL AND FRUIT but if we talking supplement form then I dont take those vitamins and minerals individually... ive never gotten a massage before, and i try to drink alottt of water day in day out!..

Who knows whats wrong with me,,maybe when insurance settles in from work, ill get it checked out!

10 to 1 its diet. You should take a daily multivitamin. Working out with weights requires higher amounts of protein, vitamins and minerals. Chances are you are defficient in one or more as shelly said!!

Try it for 3 months, what harm will it do? Non! Will it help? Probably but even if it does you may not notice because its suttle. If you stretch every morning when you awake, how do you warm up the muscles first? Never stretch muscles that have been inactive......

A. Just take a standard once a day vitamin for men from the drug store. Why pay for all the fancy named and packaged products?

B. Always do you stretching after your excercise as the muscles are warmed up. If you work into the excercise with warm-ups then do your excercise and then your stretching. If you stretch before excercise its like trying to stretch cold taffee.....SNAP!

cheers
