Newbie Needs exercise tips
What are the best exercises to get rid of about 30 lbs of fat and to tone up body, do not want to be huge just hard , defined abs and in good shape . I am really new to all of this so I will be thankful for any advice or pointers.

ARGH,
Lift heavy for fat lost, you won't become hulk or everyone would be one.
That's only a bad excuse for lazy people to not work hard "Oh noes I can't go heavy or I will become huge" come'on
Tone = muscle mass + little BF%
And since muscles is the best way to burn fat, you will have to build muscle in order to loose weight.
Read Swanso advice, and follow them.
