basically i am doing weight training usually 3 times a week, leaving at least a day between workouts and trying to get each body part done at least once a week. i've seen some really good gains in a pretty short period of time (about 2 months) but i'm also interested in increasing fitness a lot and getting as strong as possible. i was wondering if doing circuit training in conjuction with normal routine will cause me to overtrain. i was hoping to be able to do circuit training maybe 6 days a week, but obviously i will be using lighter weights than with weight training. i'm also interested in doing isometrics daily to increase strength as much as possible.
basically i want to get as strong and fit as possible for the purposes of mixed martial arts, but i don't want to over do it, i just want to do as much as possible.
any advice is much appreciated

train heavy with compounds only on main 3 days and use lighter, isolation type exercises for circuit but don't go to F...regulate how your strength levels are on main days and increase/decrease circuit days from that...do this circuit 3 times a week max...just get stronger with regualr training before iso's...maybe try barbell complexes instead of circuits on second thoughts (search)
