Hi peeps, I'm a semi-fit 62yo that's seen better years... unfortunately an abdominal aneurism that we have to keep an eye on means getting rid of a bit of weight......... being 6'1"..currently I weigh in at 103kg (227lbs) and ideally I'd like to lose 10kg (22lbs) mainly of the middle age spread (stomach)

A dietician later, a change in eating habits, cutting out bread etc and for the last 2 weeks I've decided the old bastids getting a lil' soft so bought a dumbbell set........to tone up what used to be a godlike figure

I only work 2 hours in the morning and arvo so most of day is free...... so what I have been doing is
doing a set of 15 tricep exercises, 30 bicep curls, 20 dumbbell press & 15 dumbbell flys .... morning, noon and early evening, 7 days....
I've only been doing enough to start feeling the 'burn' so to speak..... not wanting to overdo or injure myself
I started with 11lb weight.......... just upped today to 20lb....so halve the above numbers... only a lightweight

Then I read something, hence question to you knowledgeable folk.............
This has worked for me, I have the time to do it like this, but.... am I doing myself a disservice by not loading myself with more sets but only doing 3 times a week .......
Look forward to your expertise
