Tomato Sauce is a source of Lycopene.

Lycopene occurs in most Tomato products e.g. Tomato Sauce, Tomato Paste, Tomato Puree, Tomatos, and in a few other things like Apricots, Pink Guava, Watermelons and Pink Grapefruit.

It is responsible for the destruction of Free Radicals that can damage Skin Cells and age Skin.

Tomato sauces are nutritious. They are not fattening. Weight gain is more caused by eating too many calories than by eating certain foods, espcially things like veggies. Look at the label. Some sauces have a significant amount of sugar added while others don't. And of course think about your portion sizes.
