i've always been a bit of a hardgainer
last year was a rough year and i piled on the pounds.
im back into the weights and starting to see a difference
but the question is: how can i lower body fat without losing muscle gains?
will heavy weight training help me lose fat?

Re: Fat lose through weight training?
Weight training can help as 1lb of added muscles burns another 45-50 calories a day.
However what you could try is something simple.
Take 10g of Carbs out of eahc meal and replace the lost calories with fat.
The body should then create an energy deficeit, that fat will almsot certainly provide.
I would not go lower on the carbs than 30g per meal though, regardless of current intake.

Diet with a 500 calorie deficit. Intake 1.5 lb/protein and you will keep lots of muscle as long as you hit your daily macros.
