Day 196

Breakfast, special K ceral and protein shake with water.

Break, duck tortilla rap with lettuce, 430 cals, 18g protein, 4g fat.

Lunch, pork luncheon meat sandwich.

Home, dinner being cooked, veggies, carrots, collierflower, peas, potatoes, good so far huh, but then pork sausages, 142 cals each, 10g fat 6.9 g protein. !!!!! This is so frustrating and annoys me to death, protein needs to be higher than fat and that's alot of fat, 18% sat in one sausage. Dunno what il do, probably eat the rest but not sausages, anythings got to be better than that. Really frustrates me, anyway time to order some more protein powder i guess.

Right leg is aching me again, the bone in your leg when you bend your knee and feel it at the side, thin, always seems to effect me.

Back and shoulders hurting a bit but where am i gettign moaning, il try some pull ups chin ups maybe some weights later.

http://www.myprotein.co.uk/bulk-powders ... y-protein/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thinking of buying this one, what's the 82% about though? Would this do me more harm than good?

Hello Martin,

The 82% (I believe) means that of the total calories per serving, 82% come from protein and the rest come from the small amount of carbs and fat in the product.

Good job skipping the sausages. You're right, there shouldn't be more fat than protein in your meals. The rest of your meals look good.

Thanks Cassie, is that good then? 82% doesn't seem that great? shouldn't it be at least 90%+?

Don't want to end up buying it if it'll do more harm than good, i know it's cheap which is why it may, but if that's the case id be better off with nothing, now for dinner, going to have to find something to replace the sausages.

That protein has about 24 grams per serving. That looks fine Martin. I'd go for it. Definitely won't do "more harm than good".

Ok. I'll get that ordered, someone once told me though, that some protein powders have ingredients, this is where the harm came from, and they can affect you like they have too much of a certain ingredient, is this true, do you use protein powders?

All protein powders have ingredients. Not sure what they were talking about with the harmful ingredients. Yes I use protein powders, however I try to consume solid sources of protein whenever possible so really don't use a ton of protein powder. Id rather eat food than drink it.

Ok got that ordered, haven't really worked out today, or cardio, few pull ups but im aching a bit not sure wether to workout or just start tomorow (day off).

Also, i looked at a membership deal for a gym, quite a good one, £2.50 a week (4.0925 U.S. dollars) x4 = £10 a month, however the contract is for 2 years, so it would cost me £240, good deal and i have to decide by sunday, so one day this week il have a look in the gym, see what it's like, if it's worth it.

Protein shake and slice of bread with peanut butter.

Yeah the gym i looked at look good, local, quiet, however it's only cheap because you have to stay with them for 2 years, so quite a commitement. And they said the one that does the offer, has just opened, 16th jan. So will look at that soon not local but would need to travel to get there :x .

Dinner bein cooked jacket potato, and cornish pastie, pastie no good !!!!!!! Grrr so frustrating, gues il have a protein shake or something, nearly out of it though.

Whats a cornish pastie? Do you have any chicken? Turkey? Ham? Tuna? Eggs? low fat cheese? Beans? Soy? Fish? There are lots of options besides protein shake.
