What do you get when you cross poison ivy with a four-leaf clover?

A rash of good luck!
:funny:

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! Sounds like you have some great memories of the day, Sue!

Thanks for the St. Pat's wishes, Bekah--good to see you!

Yay on the walking, Chris.

I saw your snappily dressed goose on FB, Bama--too cute!

Hey, YAH, hope you celebrated St. Urho's Day yesterday--I made own gluten-free version of gramma's pancakes in honor of the occasion. :D /b]

Morning ladies,

Image

Loved your funny Molasses and yes lots of great memories.

Another not much sleep Saturday, so I am off to take down today's stories, breakfast, shower and have a nice relaxing day...reading.

Very very sad to read about Chuck Berry yesterday. Loved him and me and best friend, Debbie got to see him in person many many times...another legend in our era gone...sadness of the heart.

Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday,

Sue

Happy Monday All,
I am truly hoping things are going to quiet down here at work. I missed a number of walks last week at lunch times. We do what we can. On saturday I did get out on a beautiful day and moved some snow off the deck. I didn't get down through the crust that is there but I moved off the foot of light stuff. Of course then I sat out there with a hot chocolate and a book listening to the birds and the melting snow dripping into the metal eavestrough. :D It was lovely. Yesterday morning proved to be another wonderful start to the day that I couldn't stay inside. SO I headed out for a walk by myself. DH and I go at different paces so for exercise we split up. I ended up walking for an hour out there. :D :sunshine: Well I should get some work done.
Have a great day all!

Bummer on missing your lunch time walks due to work. Let's hope this week is better. I see you got out for a nice long time Sunday too.

Hope your day goes well.

I am off to do a quick mail check, eat, workout and make up a grocery list for this week. It's that time again..but at least a short one.

Have a nice Monday....

Hi ladies,

Chris, nope didn't hide from Monday and list was just finished and not too bad at all. Plus I am finally getting a new MOP! Hallelujah

Great walks yesterday and today and hope the kids do well at the dentist. I was a strange child as I loved the dentist. Could be cause I brushed after every meal and didn't have any cavities till I was 11.

Well off to do a mail check and then go work on pics...hope to have them up sometime this week.

A great day to all....

Hi ya'll, I am still around. Just been busy .

See that everyone is doing good on their routines, I have slowed down some this month. Busy Sewing LOL . Thanks Mo on goose . It was such a surprise to get another one since I wasn't able to bring mine from Alabama . It really just gives me something to do . Occupy all the free time I have.

Chloe got to go back to school today . She told her Dad she was bored and anxious to get back . Doc says she should heal perfectly being as young as she is . So all good there.

Other granddaughter doing good with her basketball. She will be playing in Columbus, Ohio next week end . She seems to like it.

Spring has sprung here in Ohio but still a little chilly .

Warm one day and cold the next . Crazy weather .

Well just wanted to let you know I was still around.

Morning sisters,

Towels are in Lucy, eggs boiling on the stove and after I am done with morning checks, off to breakfast and date with the bathrooms, after which I will be done...

Chris, glad you got your walk in Wednesday. Brr on the cold weather being back. No whimping just smart. Yeah I realized March is almost done and time to think of April too LOL Time moving too fast.

Bama, busy is good. Hey you are working those fingers and feet is you have one of those pedal things on the machine like grandma did... I loved Tilly....and you are so so talented. Glad Chloe got to go back to school. Glad to hear she is healing well. Also nice your other is doing so well with her basketball.

Yeah Spring has sprung here too and we got more rain this week. We are going to get cooler too (well cool for us) LOL

Hi Bekah, hoping all is going well for you.

Well I am off.....have a good Saturday and a great weekend.

Happy Saturday, Sisters!

Hi, Sue, hope your bathroom cleaning went quickly so you had plenty of time to enjoy the day. :)

Hey, Bekah, nice to see you--how've you been? Are you still playing the piano, working out and working with the horses?

Glad Chloe was okay to get back to school, Bama. I hope she heals fast! Yay on Steph enjoying basketball, too. We've got the same crazy weather here--60 one day, 30s the next. Nice that you have a hobby you enjoy.

Hope it warmed up a bit so you can outside this weekend, Chris. :chilly:

Hope all is well with you and your family, YAH.

DH had his colonoscopy yesterday and it all went well. He had two little polyps removed but the dr didn't think they were problems. DH didn't even find the prep very uncomfortable; he said overall it was a pretty easy process. I got a letter on mammo, too, and all is well there. I have an eye appt. on Tues. and hope that it's for appointments for awhile. I have a cyst on back that's bothering me, but hopefully I can deal with that on own. It wasn't hurting when the dermatologist looked at it a few months ago, but kept me up last night. I'll try some tea tree and castor oil on it tonight and see what happens.

Have a great weekend, everyone~

Happy Sunday all, Wow our weather is great . In the seventies this weekend and sixties until Wednesday . Course that could change. Our neighbor a single lady did her yard yesterday got all the winter stuff cleaned up. LOL I know DH should do that but I'm sure he won't . He has really taken retirement seriously .

Mo glad your hubbys Colonoscopy went well. I had one a few years ago and all was well then but I thought the prep was the worse . I mean drinking a gallon of that stuff and sitting on the toilet all day . Glad I don't have to have another one. . Hope you are able to rid yourself of that Cyst. It must be very uncomfortable being on the back .

Chris hope it warms up quickly for you also so you can get outside.

Sue Hope all it well at your place

Yah and Becky Hope the same for you.

Well I went to a special shoe store and was fitted for some athletic shoes . The store has such a cute man "Up and Running" . They found two pairs that they feel would be good for me , I chose only one as they are well over 100$ . Saucony which I have never had that brand before . The other that was a good fit for me was New Balance . They seem to be a little wide for me and a bigger size then what I normally wear but so far not to bad . I haven't ventured outside with them yet as i have 2 weeks to decide if I can wear them . Treadmill seems to be ok but not as comfy as I was hoping for. I may get out later this morning and see how they do on the hard cement .

Nothing new here . I have been sewing for the goose . Gives me something to do but not as into it as I thought I would be .
She has a new raincoat which the Vinyl was not an easy sew and a Bunny outfit for Easter . I kept a few of the outfits I had in Bama but most I gave to Marie .

Spring break this next week so DD and Chloe may come and spend a few days with us . Not sure yet . I don't see them much as she is busy with school and work and girl scouts and dancing school. Busy Mommy as I was too.

We went to a polish fish fry Friday with 3 other couples and had a good time . Ran into an old friend that we hadn't seen for a very long time . Since we got married. I don't think Dh to happy about it . A friend that he had before we were married and he had bought our corvette from us and never paid for it . But that was in the past and long over with . i don't think the friendship will be renewed .

Well it's getting light out so I think I will try new shoes outside for a short walk.

Happy a great day all.
