No I did the 1 min @ 8 mph.Even on the elliptical 2 mins at level 10 @ 8 mph would be difficult, barely make it through 1 min ;)

So les in regards to the yogurt, besides the nutrient level, you would advise someone trying to LOSE weight to eat that ? I surely would not.Swanso said yogurt is to full of sugar & carbohydrates & he is correct, when you can easily eat something equally as healthy & lose the weight.

Lynn that yogurt is measured in 5 oz serving size, if so that is 10 tbsp.Which is 5 times the amount of sour cream you could use.1 ounce has 2 tbsp. However as personal preference I still think most yogurts are unnecessary.

Didn't read your post, yes body fat can go up without loss or gain, fairly sure mine went up from that endurance phase & when I was sick.

The FF plain Greek yogurt I was refering to is Oiko's 5.3 oz. So, i would have to use it in portions, not the entire container at one time. There are 80 calories in a serving, 6 grams sugar, 6 grams carbs, 15 g. protein. That particular one is not too bad is it? I remember Cassie suggesting FF greek yogurt to folks trying to find more healthful options to full fat/sugar foods. The reason I was keen on this one was because of the low sugar/high protein (higher than sour cream). Not sure if it has aspartame in it. Thanks for the help and the info!

Todays workout

Squat jumps 3 x 8
with
Pull up/leg raise 2 x 3

Drop lunges 1 x 8..x 10 ..x10
with
Clean & press 3 x 5

chin ups
2 x 5
with
side box jumps ( up onto platform, down the other side )
1 x 8..2 x 12

Plyometric push up
3 x 8

Dbl leg drop with ab curl
3 x 8

Side twists on FS of bosu w medicine ball
3 x 10 x 9/10 lb

So the leg raise/ pull up, is raising your legs to the bar THEN doing a pull up, not an easy task, mine were more of a knee raise, but alas practice will help. She who thought adding a clap to push ups would be easy ?...hahaha, barely even clear the floor when I push off.Love me some jump squats, though I think knee is out over toe before I fully sit back.Seems anything to do with jumping on boxes etc are going to be the most fun :) I had that young trainer at this gym tell me a few months back when I asked about plyometrics.." oh you have to start those when your young, because they are hard on the joints " .As well they are hard on the joints, but I think example myself with enough muscle & connective tissue etc, they are not out of reach.I would not ever hire that guy as a trainer. If a person really wants to do anything with their bodies it should be achievable with the proper steps taken.Have a good day everyone ! :)

I'm stil trying to picture this....you are raising your legs up to the bar above your head? Then doing the pull up?

Yes it is raising your lower body to the bar above your head, so that you are suspended horizontally, then do the pull up.

Not sure how far in it is..might need to watch it again myself.

Wow! Love all those exercises. The jump over burpee looks awesome. The incline burpee/pushup looks very challenging, I can just see me being off just a bit and cracking shins on the table. :P
I'm gonna incorporate some of these into 1min. bw exercises I've been doing.

That first guy is literally coming off the bar! Tremendous upper body strength. The other guy that is clapping his hands at the top of his pull up - CRAZY!!!

Yes, I'm not sure exactly how safe some of those ones are in the first link, which is why I hesitated posting it.I checked more " plymetric pull ups " & found the other ones. The whole idea is for your hands to momentarily leave the bar. I look forward to the challenge! Uhh the clap, maybe down the road aways....somewhere with the one in the push up ? :)

Today was a day off.Brief note, those plyometrics found muscle area's never felt by using regular compound weight training, such as the sartorius ( from hip along inner thigh by & slightly beyond the knee ) & the vastus medialis, which is one of the muscles of the quadricep group found parallel to the sartorius along bottom section of the inner thigh.
