After a quick diet I went from 125 pounds to 113 pounds. However, I have this pooch of fat around lower which hinders me from having the flat stomach I've been obsessing over. I've been going to the gym and doing an hour of carido on the elipitcal machine. I end up burning around 500 calories, heart rate stays around 150-160. I then do 10 different sets of ab exercises. I'm 5'1, 113 pounds, 21 year old female. I've been trying to keep diet low calorie, I drink a protein shake for breakfast, try to have 2 healthy snacks during the day, lunch is usually subway or eggs, I try to keep dinner healthy.
Am I likely to see results with what I'm currently doing? friend is convinced I wont lose any weight unless I'm jogging/running instead of usual power walk. I would just die to ask a fit woman what her day is like...how much she eats or how long she's at the gym.
I can post pictures of stomach if it helps. I just need to know if I'm on the right track to burn off this little hump at the bottom of stomach--or what I should be doing differently. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you doing any weight training, or only cardio? let me know. this will have an impact on how your body responds to what you have been doing.

I disagree with rihaan. I suggest hitting the weights harder. I would say a three day a week full body workout which will up your metabolism and help you burn more calories.
