Did you keep the old one and would it still fit?

Oh and if you did keep it, has it got any old grass stains still on it

haha Bossman! Yes I still have the original - not sure if it fits - I was 20lbs lighter then. and it was a formal, long train "inside" dress - no grass stains. but it was a beautiful gown with lots of hand sewn bead work and lace - mother sewed it, and she is an incredible seamstress. She even hinted that she might like to make vow renewal dress. I may see if I can find a pattern similar to the dresses I found, so she could make it. I think she would feel more involved that way. Since the vow renewals will be in Virginia at mom-in-laws, and mom will not be there (hmmmm...maybe we could arrange for her to fly up there too....that would be awesome!)

I love Dress # 3 too, it will look great on you! - but the first one would flatter someone with less up top (me!) :) Wow, to have your Mom make the dress would be awesome!

I'm in that same boat. and I am concerned about the 3rd dress in that respect. It doesn't help that the model in the picture is so amply endowed! Makes it hard to know how it would look on a small busted woman. That's the great thing about mom sewing the dress, she can tailor it to fit me perfectly.

Just printed out 12 week 1/2 marathon training schedule! The race is in the first part of April. I don't feel comfortable trying to train for a full 26.2 marathon with only 12 weeks to prepare - that's not enough time. If weekly mileage was up in the 25 to 30 range, then I could do it, but it is not even close to that right now. I've been focusing on the shorter 5K's, but now it is time to switch gears and start getting some serious mileage in.

Back in September i posted this:
"the other day when I was visiting Dad, the doctor came in and was talking to us...looked at me and said "are you the runner"? I said "yes, that I have father's strong legs, and just decided to put them to good use! lol". Then dad told the doctor something I never knew...he has always wanted to run with me! I told him to hold onto to that..and Lord willing, we will make it happen. I told him it would be an honor to run, or even walk with him."
This race, in heart, will be dedicated to Dad. Even tho' we never got to run together, just knowing that he was proud of me, and had told his doctor about me, and especially the fact that he wanted to run with me has been a tremendous inspiration for me and a source of strength in these last few weeks. On race day, he WILL be with me, with his picture pinned to shirt, every step will be done together. :)

I prefer the colder weather to hot. Favorite running weather is in the mid 40's. I have run when it was in the low 20's (for around here that is COLD  ) but I don't like that cold air in lungs.
I can just hear Edgar and Rebekkah and Jocelyn and Brent and Lu, and ALL northernly friends.....20's!!! Heck, that's a heat wave for us!
