Lmfao boss man, yes indeed an apt description, its just a brand name, mine book is tiny just enough space to write out a workout & not trip over it at the gym :)

Todays Workout

HIIT resistance level 8

1min/2min for 20 mins
10 mins steady state

I prescribed that for someone, thought id try it out myself, 20 mins of intervals is nothing to sneeze at..I have come to a conclusion as to why its so hard to find people to train.I think MOST women really don't want muscle like mine & when they see me, they THINK it is how I will train them. Now what I can do to rectify this I'm not sure, because I'm NOT giving up muscle for anyone.

Of course you shouldn't give up your muscle. thoughts are that maybe these women are a bit intimidated by you. A bit in awe of you - so it makes it hard for them to relate to you - they probably have never even imagined that THEY themselves could ever achieve your results. Personally, I would want a trainer that "walks the walk, and talks the talk" to push me to work hard.
But unfortunately what you might find is that regardless of how much you hope for your prospective trainees to want to work hard and really get serious with their fitness - most folks put their fitness as an afterthought..something to do after work to relax, or occasionally to work off 5 or 6 holiday pounds, but when it comes to really committing 100% - they fall by the wayside.
Don't take it personally as a reflection on your training skills - which I know will be stellar. You know the old saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink"? Well, you can give them all the tools and knowledge to become fit and healthy - but they have to want it bad enough to do the work.
Chin up - carry on! For the one's that you get to work with that really want to work hard and are really hungry for a permanent change - it will make it all worth it. :D

I think you have a very valid point, when I was in the gym at night training people there was more interest.Though working out at night is not an option at the moment due to lack of energy, your input is most appreciated both of you :) Lynn I had starstruck thoughts in fitness theory of OMG now I know all the secrets I can help people get fit !! Then not very long after I also realized the reality, which is what you typed above, so even helping them achieve healthiness is okay by me :) I do think I'd like to learn to teach the interesting things in fitness, once I'm done the basics.I have awhile till I need to hand in those papers, I will find a solution.

Juist keep believing in yourself and remember, someone who tries then gives up, is not a failure on your part, only theirs. If you know your methods are good and safe and your attitude to people is human, not mechanical then you can't blame yourself for people who fail.

You'll get there in the end :).

Right Boss - we all need to remember that we are all human beings and we all bring different baggage to the table, and what's really good for one may not be good for another. Some people truly DO have excuses.......I learned long ago that expectations are sometimes a recipe for failure and may need adjustment. Bonnie, you now have the knowledge and desire to show others - but they may not have the same goals, but worthy ones none the less. :)

All I can say about that trainer / Yoga teacher perching on her friend is, only a female could do that.

That move is DEFINITELY not friendly

Aww, if you look at the feet, they're placed on the hip bones. ;)
Yes, but what happens if a man incurred some slippage? Slippage I tells ya. Men have wrestled alligators, survived hostage situations and even cleaned and prepped soiled babies, but when a man could be in a situation, where he has something perilously close to his nether regions, he will be entitled to avoid it, if the option is there and probably might :P.

The percentage chance of not participating, in such physical feats demonstrated in the picture, would depend on whether he wanted to start or expand on fatherhood, because a man who is content as a father, has less to lose in such a situation, should he participate in such physical actions and incur said slippage.

Thinking of things near to tender areas, I've wondered sometimes, how a female can use a Bar to Bench Press, without losing technique and not scuffing or clouting her chest area. I've yet to see this, as almost all females I've ever seen in a Gym, lift small, not big and tend to favour dumbbells.

Can't help with input chest is more like a mans, nothing to get in the way..though I favor dumbells also.Always that fear of a bar landing on you.

Todays workout

Pullups
1 x 8/7/6
with
Step ups
3 x 8 x 80 lb

Bent row
3 x 10 x 25 lb
with
Dead lifts
1 x 6/5/5 @ 125 lb

Seated row
1 x 10 x 60 lb
2 x 10 x 65 lb
with
Push ups
3 x 10

Military press w bar
1 x 7/6/6 @ 45 lb
with
Dbl Leg drop with reverse ab curl
3 x 10

Planks
1 x 90 seconds
1 x 100 seconds

Side planks
2 x 1 minute

Don't like the military press due to having to remove & place the bar in the rack which is BEHIND head.Need to youtube some shoulder exercises though think its fairly limited. So men seem more intrigued by strength..than women are afraid I'm going to load them full of muscle, so have started asking men to do programs, I have two set up :) One is an ex professional boxer, seen him around for months now, he needs a 45 minute program, should be ample time for body weight exercises, legs & deads, move his cardio to alternate days.Picked up two extra work shifts this week, one landing on a training session I just booked...need to accept it to feed habit..protein habit.I already know that man is flexible on times.Hope everyone had a great day ! :)

Forgot the arms..oops..never made it back to the gym to meet that one person at 10 am..hope he understands I got called in to work.Hopefully he is there tomorrow morning.I took the ex boxer person through a program today & introduced him to the ball, which of course I made look easy..lol..handed him the two 20\s & he said WOW this is a lot for you to be doing..as he wobbled all over.I just replied " I'm stronger than I look. " He liked the ball, so the program went well..just drawing the stretches tonight, that is number 10 done.Im going to mental health unit on monday to see the rehabilitation worker, she will find me some volunteers. Also redoing programs for some people I already did, busy busy these days. The city has now deferred the matter of what is in this house back to the government housing. After that inspector left, I turned the light switch in the staircase to see water stains on the wall, took pictures, sent them & asked so what are these if there is no moisture in that wall...Will send them to BC housing.Hope everyone is well :)
