First time taking exercising seriously

Post by AnualManual »

Im a 120 pound skinny 16 year old, and I've never had a problem with what I eat, gaining weight or anything. I just recently cut out smoking and decided I want to get fit, particularly in abs and arms. The problem is though, that I just dont know what Im doing. I've been trying crunches, pushups and lifting weights as thats the extent of recources at the time, but I really get the feeling that I dont know what Im doing and could benifit from outside help.

I really want to emerse myself in this now that Im staying away from smoking and have the summer at disposal, and was wondering if anyone has any tips or pointers on what I should or shouldnt be doing. I plan on going to a gym and possibly getting into some sort of nutrition program, but since Im new to the game, Im not sure what I should be looking for.
