how does Protein work?

do you gain or lose fat?

can i gain mucle on uper body and lose fat on lower body?

protein carries amino acids which are the building blocks of muscle...if you don't supplty the muscles AA's when they need them (i.e. straight after training) you won't recover befpre your next session...won't gain fat from too much protein but will from too many calories no matter what it's from (ccarbs, fat, protein)...and no you can't

Actually you can gain fat from eating too much protein. The way that work is that when you ingest protein and if you body does not need it, then you body will convert that protein into fat for storage. Even unused carbs can be converted to fat.

i thought u dint gain fat from protein if you had to much you just shit it out like it u body dont need a protein shake, but u put fat on from supplements with carbs in...so like swanso said

too much protein and you'll piss out what you don't use...too many calories from anything and you'll get fat

I can tell you the biological process of protein turning into fat but I am pretty sure you guys don't want to, So I researched and found an article that explains some stuff about proteins and other stuff. Here is the website:
