One other possibility, is you take around 10g of Carbs out of every meal, then add the same amount back from Fat, so you add around 4-5g, (36-45 calories), Fat per meal.
This should promote a Carb deficeit that Fat would supply, but stay roughly around a maintenance calorie amount.
I wouldn't go lower than this even if you did it, as cutting too many Carbs could affect training and cut the amount of Carb supply, the Brain would want to assist functions.
Again I'm not trying to override any advice a trainer gives you, I'm just putting these things out there as an afterthought or a for instance.
You are doing brilliantly, so keep up the hard work, you should be so, so proud of yourself.
for cardio she has me doin usual 30min b4 weights 3 days a week. she also wants me to come in one day and do 60mins doing a interval heart rate training. i haven't tried it yet but i'm goin to give it a shot.
you talked about counting calories. should i start doing so? i wont lie when i say i cant stand keeping a daily food journal. i never stick to it. is that something i should consider giving a shot?
believe me i have seen a difference in confidence. today i went swimming in the pool at the gym and didnt feel shy or that i should hide myself. i know after i saw the thin girls when i went to change and looked in the mirror and wanted to complain about body again. b4 i allowed myself to start pointing out the fat on me, i told myself, "dont u dare start! Last year u were two dress sizes bigger and couldnt even buy a bathing suite top at a normal store! u had to get it custom made! so shut up!" lol so...i did. i smiled and felt great!
I'm gonna be swimming for a while now bc i think i pulled a tendon on left leg. its on the back part behind the knee. every time i get up from the floor i feel it straining. so the swimming and the hot tub have been helping. this way im still getting in some sort of exercise but not hurting myself in the process.
