I actually had two eggs, not enough I know. I could've eaten cereal with it, but I just don't feel hungry when I wake up early at 8ish =S!!!
But you know something...I know im not always 100% with food.........
but I did reach one big goal: I got out of bed. I am not always on it. I'm moving a lot more. eating habits are A LOT much better than they were 5 months ago. I don't eat macdonalds twice a week, I don't eat chilices buffalo wings that are 1,000 cals (since at least 4 months or so now!!!)
Sure I do eat in bed at times, but not bad stuff, healthy stuff while watching shows. Instead of eating corn thats filled with butter, I'd have a protein shake, cereal, whole wheat tortilla or pasta....
I think I've made really good progress, and I don't ever feel like "I don't want to go to the gymm". Sometimes I decide not to, because I'm either too busy, or because I feel that simply body needs a break like today. I often do weights on Thursdays, but I worked out a lot i nthe past 3 days, so I need a break, and I'll do weights on a Friday and it won't affect anything!

9:50 Half an egg sandwich, cereal, green tea
11:30 20g of peanuts, orange juice (50 cals)
1:00 Pita bread: grilled chicken, lettuce, a bit of garlic sauce, hmm...fries, and Diet coke
4:45 Low fat Yogurt
7:30 steamed corn with a bit of butter, cheese powder, pepper, lemon and popcorn at the movies.
10:15 Small cheeseburger from BK. According to the nut. info, it's 310 calories. Surely not the best calorie sources.
That's problem if food is good all week long, I end up screwing up twice as much on off day...i dunno.
I was fairly active today. I walked some.
And weird thing is when I checked weight, I'm still at 52.5, which means that I was within 51 range earlier in the day.
I'm gonna go for a body analysis check up this Sat. I'm scared to death about the results.
Have I gained at least 1.5kg of muscle in the past 7 weeks? Have I lost at least 2% of fat?

Don't be scared about the upcoming results of your body scan test Amna! I'm sure the results will be great! If nothing else, like you said, youve already reached your goal of getting out of bed, switching to a more healthy diet, and becoming more active. You're doing awesome girl! Keep up the GREAT work and keep your chin up!

I think one upside of this time around, is the fact I've been completely realistic with self and shortcomings. I'm second guessing to take the test tom and wait it out another week. I don't know!
Meals today -Not the best, because of high sugar sources, plus I woke up way late. It seemed I was too exhausted.
1:30 (cant even call it breakfast) had cereal (the normal type for a change, the frog one) and a bit of home-made orange cake. It was there and it was quick to eat...and lunch was soon so I had little of both.
3:00 Grilled chicken, rice, broccoli
4:30-5:30 Weights. I def see a progress in terms of muscle again in upper body, but I feel lower body is somewhat neglected with the program I am following. I don't know. I also feel like legs have lost some muscle instead of gained. I'm unsure.
5:45 Proteinshake at the gym
6:30 Popcorn when I came back with 200ml of Mountain Dew...It was either that or Peanut butter, but having PB after weights is not a good idea because fat + protein digestion after weights do not work well together.
8:15 Tortilla: Turkey, olives, mustard, cottage cheese, lettuce.
11:00 Protein shake + 1 rice cake with PB

12:00 - 2 scrambled eggs with 1 yolk, special K protein plus w/milk, green tea (250)
1:45 - 2 rice cakes with Peanut butter (200)
3:00 - Rice, grilled chicken, veggies, a bit of lemon juice (350)
6:00 - I dont know why, but mom bought me ice cream a sundae from macdonals, so I ate half of it, then I had whole wheat pasta with 1 slice of turkey. (400)
8:30 - 3 boiled egg whites, special k cereal (little amount), broccoli, olives. (200)
I dont know if I'm eating enough. I honestly don't.
11:00 plan to have a 20 gram protein shake mixed with milk and water. (100)
I can't eat a lot...not like this. I find it hard. Can someone tell me what to eat "less" things but get more calories? I can't eat like 13-4 different things at once.

2:00 Grilled chicken, rice, lemon juice (400cals)
3:30 Protein shake (10g) (70 cals)
4:00 Weights (I changed the program in the sense of sets/reps. Instead of doing 10 x 3 and 4 x 6, I did 3 x 8-10) Progress: I can lift 20kkgs (40lbs) with more reps now. I was able to pull off 7 reps in one set. For me, that's amazing. For someone else it may seem little, to me, it's not.
5:00 Protein shake (22g) (100 cals)
6:00 2 whole wheat tortillas (100cals each) with two thin slices of 98% fat free turkey, mustard, olives, lettuce, cottage cheese. (500)
8:30 Whole Wheat Pasta with 2 slices of shredded Turkey and hummus with bread. (400-500)
11:15 1 rice cake with 1 tbs of PB and protein shake (10g) (150)
You cannot say I didn't eat enough today. I feel like I ate a lot, but this is probably the RIGHT amount I need.

lol...these were yesterdays meal, and I'll be eating heavy on days I do weights now.
Todays meals were Okay, except for one.
9:00 Egg whites and Cereal
10:30 Coffee with 2 munchkins (not the BAD meal)
1:00 Salad: lettuce, grilled chicken, with oil and balsamic ving. w/diet coke
4:30 went on an "ice cream date" -don't even ask!- so I had a couple of scoops...meaning no ice cream for another 2 weeks.
6:30 all Bran Cereal and Protein shake
8:00 1 and a half medium sized whole wheat tortillas with: turkey, olives, mustard, cottage cheese, and lettuce.
11:15 Protein shake only. I feel nauseated, I can't put any FOOD in stomach today. It seems that the oil balsamic ving. dressing doesn't work with stomach like 70% of other foods. Everytime I have it stomach starts to act funny.

Hehe.....thank you *big blush*....and NO worries about the diet/exercise. Both of us are into it, and know that we shouldn't do this often. in fact (he's probably reading this), he told me i inspired and motivated him to get into healthy eating and exercise. So yup. We have a lot of similarities and interests

Well I am a little more inti it =P...hahaha. He's a guy and he has a somewhat of high metabolism! He's a great guy. I'd probably wouldn't have a reason to live without him in life really. Oh god...im feel so dizzy today!! I dont know why I always feel like this on Tuesdays. I had to force myself through the cardio. Blah.
i have decided I will, as of next week, do a split workout 4 days a week with ONLY one cardio session of 45 minutes (bodycombat)...and that's that. If I want, I could go do moderate intensity elliptical or treadmill of 20 mins. No more. I shouldn't lose a lot of muscle this way.
Food today: NO MATTER how much I ate, I felt hungry stilll..and now I want to throw up.
9:00 Egg sandwich in whole wheat bread with 1 slice of lowfat cheese, green tea
10:00 Weights
11:00 Protein shake
12-2 (class then home to another city...) I started feeling so hungry at 1ish..which is the normal time to eat, but it's either: eat an hour late but healthy or eat an hour early but not so healthy.
2:00 Grilled chicken, rice, veggies, a bit of lemon juice.

I so should have protein shake right now, but stomach feels heavy because shortly after dinner I practically passed out from tiredness...and I feel so bloated inside and FULL. I just cant have anything now (11p.m.)...so i'm just drinking some water. Bad for body..but I cant put anything heavy in, anything with a TASTE.
So yup. Thats day.

Are the cravings getting better? When I give up sugar for a show the first few days are the hardest then its fine after that. After a while you get to a point where that crap doesn't even look good! Somebody brought doughnuts to work the other day and they didn't look good at all.... Not even a little bit. Its amazing how great you feel once you get that stuff and the cravings out of your system! I haven't had any form of sugar other than the occasional piece of fruit for 11 weeks now and don't miss it much at all. Keep going Les! It gets easier! So what do you do after the 30 days are up? I woke up like an hour later, totally totally craving them bad (I wake up and have to have a snack ready after a nap cos I crave crackers and things then). So I went to the fridge to grab a quick snack while I made dinner (celery with PB for snack, chicken tomato and black bean for dinner). I opened up the vegetable crisper and found hazelnut chocolate bars. Lots of them.
Recipe. For. Disaster.
