help please
Am looking for some routines to help with strength training and bulking up. I am currently 6'5" and around 220 I am very active but want some help to get bigger would idealy like to get upto between 250 and 260. The only working out I have ever done structured was only sport spacific and that was in highschool. I will note that I work in law enforcement so I am looking for overall strenght improvements as well. I am not nessisarly looking for that mr. olympia body either just want to put on some health size and alot of strength. If some one could give me just a sample of what i need to be doing for the next six months and some of the reasoning behind it I hope I can take it from there I do have 3 to 4 days a week I can get into the gym.

3 x per week different workout each day, 1 day rest between. two at "end of week".
full body workouts are needed. Use heavy, 4 sets of 6-8 reps and compound excercises.
squats, deads, lunges, pull ups, chin ups, row variations, press variations.
Its also a matter of whats available to you.
I strongly suggest reading the diet and nutrition forum stickies as well.
A trainer would be a good start possibility as well.
