This is pic from last summer.

Personally I can see that you have gained a little more definition in the Arms and Waist area, which given how you looked 12 months ago, was going to be quite difficult, because you were in such great shape anyway, but you should be proud of what you've done, and it certainly doesn't look unhealthy in any way.

I would suggets that you could then go for a change of tack, and be looking for some kind of devlopment phase. Where you gained in the region of 8-10lbs of muscle.

As this would be a healthy thing, particualry in old age, with the Bone density and connective tissue strengthening as well, and I think if you had the 400M runner look, (think Dame Kelly Holmes), it wouldn't detract at all from your femininity.

It's good to see your Son enjoying himself. I know you've put a lot of time and care into yourself, so it's obvious you would do that for him too. I've never doubted you are a wonderful Mother, and that you can cope even as a single parent.

So WELL DONE to you for all the physical changes, and the way you have been dealing with your life circumstances, and for your potential within the healthcare system, as you should be proud of yourself.

Your Son is lucky to have you, and also you he.

Thanks. I stopped doing endless cardio and started doing HIIT for 15 mins, 3 times a week. I also started doing a full body workout 3 times a week with the heaviest weights i could do for 12 reps.

Still feel like i have a way to go even though every1 around me thinks im mad. maybe i will never be happy. ha. :D

A sickness. Yeah, go figure.

So in 20 years, would you have the heart to tell her, if she had health issues, they could have been avoided or reduced by contracting your sickness?

I imagine part of you would probably feel like saying it, like "if so-called sickness, gives me a better quality of life than you have, when I'm your age, then I don't want to be cured", but the sympathy part might be talking you out of it.

Tough call.
