I agree (for a change).

In the gyms I've belonged to there was what I called the "hot babe hernia syndrome". That was when a very hot babe walked into the gym and the guys would load some extra weight on to impress her and he'd get injured. It happened all the time. egos.

I saw a guy once, hanging with a trainer doing E-Z Bar Curls, and then a member of staff was showing a blonde, 20 something female and her Mother around.

Guy clocks the blonde and starts pumping double time, like really quick reps, then when she's out of site, he slows down then stops.

He's asking the trainer guy, did she notice, and his reply was something along the lines of no, not really.

The other guy was acting as if he was a bit gutted, but he seemed to get over her inability to psychically work out, she was supposed to have looked :wink:.

Truth be known women never notice how much a guy lifts, and if she did notice she would not be impressed with the poundage.

One time a pretty young woman asked me how much I benched. I replied that I wondered if she would have an appreciation of the effort; and she said, "Oh, sure. brothers' are all body builders. I know all about weight lifting."

So I said, "I singled out at 425 pounds at 182 pound body weight."

And she replied, "Oh. What is that equal to in girl's push-ups?"

(I don't think she was really that impressed with bench press.)
