Water consumption question

Post by olwiggy »

For the last 2 or 3 weeks I have been religiously drinking at least 100 oz. of water a day and as a result have had to make trips to the restroom almost every 5 minutes. I am just wondering if body will eventually get used to drinking so much water or if I will have deal with these non-stop bathroom trips forever?

Hi there,

Unfortionately I have been drinking large quantities of water daily for the past 5 years and have seen no change in bathroom habits in that time. In fact, I usually get up atleast 3 times a night and visit the ladies room about every hour during the day as a result of water consumption. Your body may adapt a little bit, but overall I wouldn't expect to see any big changes in how often you have to visit the bathroom. This is definitely one of the drawbacks of drinking alot of water. :)

When you drink you pee  I drink about 7-8 25 ox bottles of water a day. I use the restroom about every hour or so. Does not get better. I quit drinking water about 2 hours before bed.
