In any event good form is essential. Some exercises can yield injuries even when performed perfectly. So good form is not a guarantee against injury.
There is a potential flip side where youcould say in some cases a younger body is more forgiving. Look at a broken Leg. A person of 10 will take a lot less time to heal a broken Leg than someone twice that age because of the immature Bone growth.
This could be the case sometimes for things like muscles and coonective tissues as well.
Though yes in many cases older bodies have the extra resillience, and of course technqiue is everything.
