Thanks Baslim, I just get rather rattled if I can't do something right or struggle with it and I know I shouldn't. Just low confidence....judging time. Sometimes cause of schoolwork I can't always get to the gym and stuff so I often feel like I'm neglecting it and then if I see myself at an angle I don't like, like, I just go and be hard on myself. Luckily this new routine I can do without going to a gym except for the inverted rows, which means if pressed for time I can still do them separately ( I hope)

And by the way your one post here though I'm gonna say you have far more confidence than I do...and that's really admirable.

Anybody know a good way to keep your confidence up in addition to working out? I've heard posting pictures of what you aspire to look like up somewhere help but I figure that's not very healthy since what you may want may not work with your body figure, bone structure, etc....the whole idealism thing versus practicality/health.

Few, questions, been doing the exercises two times this week so far, last time for the week going to be Saturday. I'm currently only able to get ab plank for 30 seconds at a time so I've been doing two sets of those to compensate...is that any good? I'd like to get up to a full minute there, then I can start the second list of exercises in addition to what I'm already doing.

I can do push-ups just fine, but I feel like I could be doing more for chest, I don't want large pecs, I just want flatter, and since there's pretty much low amounts of muscle there (skinny fat?) should I just keep faith in the push ups for now and some of that will eventually come? I think I'm starting to see a slight improvement, but granted I've been doing push ups before this new regimen.

Diet is being evaluated and organized, more veggies, lean protein is harder to find here at school though, I don't trust the meat here.

- get the plank up to 1min
- push ups are the best chest exercise you can do but don;t do more yet
- you'll need to take food with you whereever you go
- if you comfortable with the current plan then add in the second day

I'm really feeling discouraged guys, I keep trying to get that plank up so I can add in that second group of exercises per day,but because of schoolwork since Thanksgiving I haven't been able to do everything as much as I would have liked. So it's still not at a minute. I'm really stressing out about it. diet has been consistent, I haven't been splurging. I think I'm seeing some changes in stomach region but I feel like I'm not making great progress at all...am I just being too impatient?

I'm taking a strength training class next semester...will that help any or would that be detrimental? I know you said something about getting this down before weights.

I'm just like, extremely tired of being called chubby...I thought I had gotten to the point where I wasn't so much that anymore, but apparently I'm not and find it really humiliating...

Hi there!

I think those weight training classes are an excellent idea. If those are built into your daily schedule it will be harder for you to get distracted and miss your workouts.

Second of all... (I don't mean to sound like a hard- here) but NO EXCUSES!!! I understand that sometimes life can get a little busy and it can be harder to get in your daily routine but this has to be a part of your routine. If you have extra homework... It just means you gotta wake up a little earlier or stay up a little later to make sure you're getting everything done. I've found that sometimes people make excuses but if they were to go back and evaluate their day they would find that had they REALLY wanted to they could have easily found time to get in that 30-60 minutes of training.

YOU CAN DO THIS! I know its discouraging... I know its frustrating... I know that sometimes you just want to give up and take the easy way out. I've been there so many times in life. But please dont give up... Hang in there and I guarantee your hard work WILL eventually pay off. Sometimes its not as easy as we'd like... sometimes it takes more time than we think it should... but eventually if you keep your chin up and hang in there you will see the results you're seeking!

You can do this. Please don't give up. :)
