I'm Petite and in family we gain muscle very easily including myself but because i'm so small at only 5 feet tall a few extra pounds makes all the diffrence lol.
New routine (the past week) i am sticking to protein shakes, fruits, and multigrain snacks. 4-6 small meals a day consisting of either chicken, turkey, or fish with veggi soups and about 45 mins to an hour of cardio on a tredmill and eliptical machine half in the morning or after school and the other at night before bed. I also do some crunches every few days and i'm doing weight training 2 times a week.
For the last few months i've plateued but that was during eating unhealthy school lunches and little cardio or wt training.
I'm wondering, based on what im doing (if it is decent what i am doing that is) is it safe and/or possible to lose tops 8-10 lbs in a months time by the end of march. I really want to look wonderful for photoshoot this spring break and I feel getting rid of these excess few pounds would help a lot.
Thanks for any advise!
Is losing 8-10lbs in a month possible or healthy?

training - full body wotkouts 3 - 4/week...search the waterbury method by chad waterbury
cardio - outside sprints 5 x 50m, 30secs rest x 2/week...interval training on equipment alternating 1min easy as you can with 1min as hard as you can x 10 - 20mins depending fitness...don't hold back on early intervals saving yourself for the later one's...if you can only make 10mins then that's better than doing it half heartedly for 20mins
food - fruit and solid protein x 2 meals...solid protein, veg, salad x 3 meals...equally portioned ad spaced through the day...solid protein - chicken, turkey, eggs, fish, sardines, tuna, red meat, pork

Thank you so much for the advice! So if i continue training as such and stick to healthy low fat dairy, fuits, veggies and lean proteins would it be a possible goal to lose those excess 10 lbs within month or so or should i expect quicker or slower results? I take one protein shake a day as a mini meal/snack and do cardio and weight training as mentioned. I don't want to expect too much but also want to reach goals as soon as possible.
