340 and wanna lose a 100 pds
hi im a 18yr old and i weigh 340lbs if i just do sit ups and ride an exercise bike and stay on a cottage cheese and salad diet can i lose at least 100lbs thanks
Switching to a diet which consists of vegetables, complex carbohydrates, and lean proteins (such as low-fat cottage cheese) is a very good idea. You might also want to consider eating six small meals a day rather than three large meals. This will discourage your body from storing calories as fat.
Doing aerobic exercise is great, but you should also consider resistance training. Building muscle speeds up your metabolism, and, of course, when you lose the 100 pounds you want a nice, defined body to shine through! You don't want to lose muscle as well as fat.
