CrossFit?
I'm 59 and overweight. Been spending too much time on the couch over the last 30 years. I've started walking/jogging and a little weights. I was medically discharged in 1984 with a 50% disability due to Ankylosing spondylitis (rheumatoid arthritis). concern is that CrossFit has a rep for being intense and I'm not sure of I'm up to that quite yet. I'm not sure whether to join a CrossFit gym or not.
Re: CrossFit?
Hi Davy, good to speak with you.
It's obviously a difficult thing for you to be having to cope with chronic inflammation of the lower back, as I know A S is and I would say heed caution with crossfit, as it has a fairly decent rep when done properly, but it has probably a higher risk of injury compared to a regular weightlifting regime.
