I just bought a Keys Healthtrainer 640r and wife, who is 5'2", can't reach the pedals without stuffing a thick couch pillow behind her back and this is not comfortable for her at all (or safe for that matter). Any suggestions for a recumbent bike that can accomodate her?? Thanks...
Does it have an adjustable Seat? Most should do, which can be slid forwards.
Otherwise it might require platform boots .
Could be the problem tjhough, if your seat is fixed, and welded on to the frame, as opposed to being on some sort of runner, with an adjustable pin mechanism.
It is on a runner and we have it in the first slot. It is a rather large bike...I'm 5'10" and use the third (out of ten) seating positions. I'm a bit disappointed in the seat itself...it is rather firm (good for support) but the seat is so large that it interferes a bit with leg movement, banging the bottom of thighs against it with each revolution...
I was able to return it and found a Lamar Fitness model that fits both of us, hope to pick it up today...has more resistance levels (16) and a better warranty.
