Junior benchpress records?

Post by The Metal »

Yeah i was wondering what catagories the bench records are measured in. Under 60kg? Under 65kg? I am 17 years old, currently 141 pounds, around 64kg, and i can just about bench 95kg. I am intrigued as to know what the current under 65kg record is. Anyone have an idea?

Yeah but it takes me a huge amount of effort to get it all the way up and sometimes arms start to shake. Should i keep the weight like this swanso or should i train with a lighter weight?

i found a chart that shows you the category you would fit in (good, great, all-state, all-american) but doesn't show records...

I don't know what's the bench record tough, I can lift out 140kg(310lbs) in bench press, 10 time in 5 set. How about you? ( weight = 160pounds)
