It depends on what else you're doing

.
Hopefully what I say to you will make sense and we as a community can help you progress further.
I'd be wary of just doing the abs stuff on its own, as you may run a slight risk of getting disproportionate strength levels in your abs relative to muscles in your lower back and that could cause minor pain issues sometimes and possibly posture problems too.
I speak from experience on this one.
You might be better to go for a at least a bodyweighted system where you can target the whoel body.
Something like this might work as I sometimes post it for other people.
Squats, 2 sets 10 reps
Lunges, 2 sets 10 reps
Deadlifts, 2 sets 10 reps
Vertical Flyes, 2 sets 10 reps
Bent over Rows, 2 sets 10 reps
Shrugs, 2 sets 10 reps
Planks 30-45 seconds, though you could swap this for the 3 sets of 10 in your case, but perhaps limit that if you do to 2 sets of 10, because that way you're then doing the same amount of work on the lower back area, (rear core), as you are the front of the core.
As for the calories right now, what foods do you eat and what times do you eat?
As for a timespan on progress, don't get overly concerned about this, as the main prority for exercise is to get your inner workings more healthy and functional. The cosmetic parts of you should be a secondary consideration when choosing exercise and how to do it anyway, but as a conservative estimate, give yourself at least 3 months to notice solid change, allied with a beneficial eating regime as well obviously, but again core strength should be prioritised over visability of core every time, because with exercise it's about having a body that is function over form every time, then for can be a supplemental factor.
Be proud of yourself none the less for this, because caring for yourself to the extent you do, is something to be proud of and you have a right to want more inner beauty and more wellness and your actions are repsecting the gift of life you were given at birth, so keep believing and don't be overly hard on yourself, if you feel like it's not going as well at times as you'd wish, as the progress you can't see matters too, though it is easy to forget about it, because you can't see it.
Hopefully what you tell us can help you to move further forwards but in the mean time, GOOD LUCK and keep on belieiving, because you ARE worth it
