hi im sure im not the only person in this situation but i cant afford to keep buying protein supplements, anyone got any homemade shakes or recipies packed full of protein that i can try out?

Have you tried theses people?

True Protein

They let you customise your own Protein powders, and you can pay online, so you get what you want, and don't have to by a premade powder, with stuff you might not want in it.

here are protein sources:

chicken breast
mince meat
whey powder (once a day on training day)
yoghurt
fish
deli meat for sandwhiches

shopping costs about 70 dollars a week or so

i wish i ate eggs and tuna as i could cut 10 - 20 dollars off it so there's a few more

im having the same problem here too....no cash to buy protein powder....dont know if tehres any other cheaper supplements that i can get ...like in bar form...so that itll be cheaper

since posting ive recently found a recipe for a protein shake which provides a fair amount of protein above 35g infact.

Dried skimmed milk
mixed with either milk or water
add in one egg another egg white (raw)
and then add flavouring accourding to your own tatse,
dosent taste that great but if you put it in the fridge for a while its pretty nice, and it only costs like £3 to £4 for a weeks supply working on one shake a day.
