Aw, that sucks! I used to drink that back in the day - the banana cream flavour one was the only protein shake I could stomach (now I just drink milk, I can't even stand whey shakes unless I'm desperate). What did the nutrition course have to say about it? The one I used to drink has 2 g of sugar, from 9 g of carbs total, and 16 g of protein, per serving, so you wouldn't think it would be the worst thing you could get.

it was because of all the other additives. she said that if i were to get a protein drink or powder it should consist of five or less ingredients.

Exactly. Once the ingredients start it pile up in protein powders, they get more expensive and for people who are using them to bulk, expensive ones might get you there a bit quicker, but they shouldn't allow results that cheaper ones can't help you get eventually, because back in the day, big guys got the same results lifting hard and eating hard, when supplements didn't exist, so cheaper ones should do the job and save you a lot of money over your lifetime.

yesterday's workout was a blast! challenge friday!!!! we were split into our two teams and were on the treadmills. each team had 5people and 4treadmills. the 5th person was a sub. the goal was to reach each treadmill at one mile. we had to push our self's and only be on the treadmill a few min at a time always change out who was the sub. it was awesome! i have to say i surprised the hell out of self. i faced fear and actually RAN THE TREADMILL!!!!!!!!! i have never ever ever done that and i feel fantastic! i am taking so much out of this its insane. I couldn't be more proud of myself and the way i am progressing. I have tears of joy right now because i am finally pushing self and i am excited to succeed. I have 3 more pounds to go to push past that damn barricade that i have been having problems with this past year. the yo yo of 241 to 230. i am at 233.8 right now and I AM GOING TO DO THIS! Once i reach 228 i will be where i was last july. i want to be there at the end of may. thats another 5lbs. I can do this and i will!

Thank you! Next week is measurement week but i think i will do it tonite. i'm curious how i have been doing. i have 7weeks left of this class. after that i will be taking part in classes that are included with membership vs. paying extra for it. i do think once a month i will pay for a group session workout with a trainer. so i get challenged ect. i wont be able to pay for this class anymore after the 12weeks are up but i needed this to get me started.

also, i was wondering does anyone out there know a link that to a heart rate interval chart that i can fill in and print? i want t be able to continue the heart rate once this is over. anabolic threshold is 165. i would like to fill in a cart that can help me with it. i don't know how to go about making one. i appreciate anyone who can help. thank you.

Victory is mine!

5.5 inches gone baby! only 4more pounds to loose to be where I was last summer. I'm about to reach first goal! Hellz yeah! I think today while I do Lau.dry I will take advantage of the treadmill at home. I never use it bc its not as steardy as the one at the gym but a good he of interval training I should be fine.

BOOT CAMP!

Post by rockchick_82808 »

When I said boot camp I fuckin meant it! We took this shit outside and into the parking lot. Idk if u been to lifetime but the parking lot is huge. Imagine doing sets of lunges from one end and back 6 times, sprints, jogging around the building, jumps over the lines quick back and forth, squats....ya. I am so proud of myself. I gave 100% the entire time. I didn't wine I didn't sit I just pushed the whole time. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had. I am shocked at what body can do. Today I wrote on board at work this morning, you don't know what you are truly capable of until you are challenged. That couldn't of been more true! This is a life changing year for me and I am so happy that I have the will power to make it happen!

Btw all that I mentioned was round one we did it twice for an hr!

when you have days like this, you feel stronger than ever to not cave in to temptations because of all the hard work you are putting in, and the more i transform, the more its no longer a temptation.

at lunch today, a lady at work told me that was amazed at how committed i am and how motivated i am. that made me feel so good!

the workout was insane. thighs are on fire core actually feels like I did something lol. also, this morning I weighed in....9 lbs gone! woo woo! mini wave just for me! lol I can't belive that I finally got crap together. ha ha! goals all feel reachable now. if body is nice to me and avoids platu first long time goal is to loose 30more pounds in the next 4 months. to reach 200 would be amazing. the steady pace I am having makes that sound reasonable. I can't wait!
