diet is good, I think. I cut out all sugar, salt, and processed foods from diet. I eat about 5-6 meals a day, drink a ton of water, and keep it as clean as possible. I try to eat a solid piece of protein with every meal. I keep the carbs down on off days, and eat more of them on workout days. I als...

Adding cardio after workouts

I have some concerns and I hope someone could help me. I want to drop body fat. I am trying to add HIIT in about 2-3 times a week M,W,F, and weight training 3x a week Tues, Thurs, Sat. 1. Could I add a 15-20 cardio run (treadmill) after workouts? 2. I normally work out legs on Sat. to give them some...

If i multiply weight by 12x, I get ~1700. So shouldn't 2000 cals be good for me now? Also, just to make sure...I know that while doing some weight training your weight should sometimes either go up slightly or stay the same because you're building muscle. In the beginning of the week I was weighing ...

Ok. Last week I was at 1700 calories per day and this week i'm aiming for about 2000. I'll hold at 2000 for a few weeks before I start going down again, subtracting by 100 each time I decrease. Just as a reference, I know portion control is very important, so I wanna make sure I'm eating the right p...

Ok. Sounds good. Thanks guys. I'll hold off with the supps for now. Once I get diet down packed (its been changing little by little these past 2 weeks), I'll start adding in the appropriate supps.

I thought it was bad to eat anything after 7PM. I'm usually in bed by about 10:30pm. So I always try to finish up all meals by 7pm.

I have a question...is it ok to marinate food?

I wanted to marinate some chicken in balsamic vinegar and a little olive oil, then grill.

So what if there wasn't a gun to head lol... I thought Glutamine was the way to go. Damn, these supps are so confusing. I might just stick with the protein for now, then after I lose the weight, and I'm ready to bulk up, I'll add some supps. I such prob do some more research. If I take BCAA, do I ta...

Mmm...brownies...I think I've learned to deal with the cravings.

I allow myself one cheat meal once a week. And if I want to drink on a Friday night with some friends, I'll skip the cheat meal and do the drinks instead.

Yea, it def is a stressful job. It has its ups. But I think the most annoying part, is that EVERYONE I know outside of work calls me for help with their computers.

Preparing food for the week/day?

Hello All, I just started on a clean food diet + exercise (HIIT 3x/week, WT 3x/week). I've been able to stay on track and I think its just the pure motivation to be fit again that drives me. I allow myself to cheat once a week with one meal so that I don't go crazy, but I avoid sweets alltogether. I...
